The people that run this place are absolutely amazing, could not ask for nicer people the campgrounds are very clean and beautiful my sister myself and our children camped and floated the river two of four days we were there we loved it and will definitely be coming back. I cannot say enough good things about this place or the people who run it all I can say is if you have the opportunity to go definitely do so
Before we even arrived, the campground host or manager, made us feel like we were coming down to visit a family member. Dave went above and beyond to ensure that we were accommodated. I left there feeling like had we needed to, he would have opened his home up for us to stay! Why aren't there more people like that in this world? If you're looking to escape the sounds of distant highways and be catered to like you're family, all the while enjoying the serenity of a beautiful river valley in the heart of the ozarks, give this campground a call and take your kids and family down to stay where you can be assured, that your camping experience won't be disrupted. We as it's me and three are just here and it was a blast the people where kind and overly friendly the camp counts were clean the equipment was great and we took a 10 mile float trip that was absolutely amazing. I would and will be coming back here from now on vs hootentown or any of the others that where in the area. Thank you guys for the great trip.
A hidden gem for camping and floating only 40 minutes from Springfield. I camped and kayaked with my 9 y/o son here and had a great time. The owner is very nice, friendly and helpful. (In fact, I watched him help a young couple assemble their tent that they had been struggling with for awhile.) The owner keeps the property 'family friendly' by keeping the loud party-types away. We look forward to more camping/floating trips here.
